Four days of holiday parties later and I am feeling the need to get out on the bike.

Ankle has healed up to a point, although the doctor says it will be a year till I am 90% again, which I think is total BS, but that’s what the insurance company pays him for.

Since everyone was celebrating the holiday season well into the night, we got a 10 a.m. start. Finally, I got to sleep in, and Paco was happy too.

Pulled into the lot and I don’t think I have ever seen that many cars in the lot before. Our group had 29 people, and there was another dozen behind us. I would guess there was easily 65-70 people riding today while we were out on the trails.

Monster, Ned’s, SIS, Stinger, Monster in the other direction, Yang, 2 Crew, summit, My Favorite, Lower Stinger, Switchback and out.

 

Even after all that riding, still can’t get this image from the night before out of my head.

 

 

Good thing I am taking Tuesday off to ride again.
